The Thread is a feature-length documentary that uses a mix of verité, formal interviews, and atmospheric recreation as it examines the ways in which various spiritual traditions overlap, how belief systems are often intertwined, and how magick is all around us - even if we don’t see it. 

 

We’ll dive into the realities of modern witchcraft and paganism to shift mindsets for a society that desperately needs it. We aim to highlight the hope that witchcraft and paganism can provide through its fundamental sets of answers and solutions that have stood the test of time.

Despite being more connected globally than we have ever been in recorded history, people are finding themselves more isolated and disconnected by the divisiveness and antagonism that bombards us everyday. There is a constant Othering that serves to push us further apart.

 

By showcasing a number of Elders across the globe, and exploring this world with Documentary Host and High Priestess Deidra Catero, we plan to witness the connectedness - the common thread - between us all and how we can use that thread to weave a better tapestry for everyone.

 

It is here that we find The Thread.
